- 1.25kg/2¾ lbs parsnips, peeled and cut into halves lengthways
- 1½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons of fresh thyme leaves
- Preheat your oven at 200C/400F/Gas 6.
- Put the olive oil on the parsnips. Place in a baking tray. Sprinkle with thyme, roast for 45 minutes until golden.
