Children vote for their top 20 toys this Christmas

Christmas shopping can be a huge challenge for many people, especially parents who are unsure on the best presents to buy for their children. However, to help make the task easier for Christmas 2016, hundreds of children have voted for their favourite toys.
A total of 400 children under the age of 12 years recently voted for their favourite toys, with the top 20 being revealed at the Awards in London.
Top of the list was Skylanders Imaginators, with the Activision video game trumping Hatchimals, creatures which respond to being touched, and hatch from eggs.
“The Awards gives children the opportunity to have a voice, because when it comes to favourite toys, children often have very different choices to adults,” said Gemma Gallagher, of
“I’ve been really pleased to see that the winning toys have been extremely well received from both boys and girls of all age groups. Both the winner and the first runner-up are massive surprises in terms of their appeal.”
