Chippenham Town Council has already started the Christmas festivities by launching a range of Xmas cards .
The Tourist Information Centre at the Yelde Hall is now selling Christmas Cards for Good Causes - the Wiltshires town's biggest selection of charity Christmas cards .
Shoppers can choose from over 25 national charities such as Macmillan, Cancer Research, NSPCC, Shelter and The British Heart Foundation, as well as local charities such as the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Dorothy House Hospice Care.
The Centre is also selling a range of advent calendars, stocking fillers, luxurious Christmas Hampers, and locally produced Christmas goods .
Since 2006, Christmas Cards for Good Causes have helped generate more than £20 million for charity groups, with charities receiving at least 75p from every £1 taken on sales.
Meanwhile, Chippenham Town Council has revealed that this years Christmas Lights Switch will take place on Friday 18th November from 6pm in the Market Place.
