Of those polled, 39 per cent said they wanted an Apple product this Christmas, with the much acclaimed iPhone 4 topping the most wanted chart with 14 per cent of the voted.

The iPod Touch and iPad followed closely with 13 per cent and 12 per cent of requests respectively.

Microsoft and Sony devices are also in demand, with the 6 per cent of those polled wanting the company’s upcoming Kinect Xbox 360 motion control gaming peripheral, while 4 per cent are hoping to receive the Move gaming accessory for the Sony Playstation .
